Besides the electronic lab notebook Labfolder with its many features, Labforward also offers the laboratory inventory management system Labregister and the laboratory execution system Laboperator.
Within Labfolder, you can navigate by the menu bar, which is always available as a page header. Meaningful titles and symbols facilitate access to relevant features. Navigational page header elements from left to right:

- Notebook: Lab notes can be taken and viewed under this tab.
- Manage: Administration of Projects, (Protocol) Templates, Exports, Groups and Group memberships, as well as Apps, are found through this tab. If Signature Workflow (App) has been activated, this item will also show here.
- Dashboard: Notification and communication tools are located in this tab.
- Notifications bell: Indicates if action is required for file export, group invitations or witnessing.
- Profile picture : Changes to Profile or general Settings can be made through this menu. Sign-out option can be found here.
Note: Clicking the magnifying glass symbol will open a drop-down menu featuring a simple search option (i.e. a text field for entering a search query) and a link to directly access Advanced Search page.
