Is Labfolder safe?

Modified on Fri, 03 Jun 2022 at 01:13 PM

Labfolder uses state-of-the-art web security technology to protect user data. The server-client communication is made very secure by using the military-grade AES-256 encryption standard. This ensures that all users will remain the official owners of their data. Not even Labfolder has access to your data. Labfolder will only have access to the data if this is necessary for the provision of our services and the owner has expressly consented.

Labfolder's servers are exclusively located in Germany. Therefore, underlying rigid European data protection laws ensuring third-party access to your data is not possible. Also, frequent backups of your data are generated and stored in two separate locations. One of these locations is non-disclosed, providing more protection. Furthermore, the ELN structures your data in a way which gives you maximum intellectual property protection.
